After All, I Am a Proper Zionist Jew

    by Gilad Atzmon / October 27th, 2009

Yes, I am a survivor, for I have managed to survive all the scary accounts of the Holocaust: the one about the soap,1 the one about the lamp shades, the one about the camps, the mass shooting, the one about the gas,2 and the one about the death march.3 I just managed to survive them all.

In spite of all these fear inflicting stories, that were purposely installed in my soul since I opened my eyes for the first time, I have become a functional and even a successful human being. I somehow survived the horror against all odds. I even manage to love my neighbour. In spite of all these fearful, traumatic indoctrination I miraculously managed to master my cheering alto saxophone rather than the sobbing violin.

In fact, I have already decided that in case the Queen, or any other member of the Royal Family should ever consider to make me into a ‘Sir’ for my bebop achievements, or even for facing Zionist barbarism with my bare pen, I will immediately change my surname from Atzmon to Vive, just to become the first and only Sir Vive.

I am also totally against Holocaust denial

I clearly resent those who deny the genocides that are taking place in the name of the Holocaust. Palestine is one example, Iraq is another, and the one that is set for Iran, is probably too scary to contemplate.

The Holocaust is a relatively new religion.4 It lacks mercy or compassion, instead it promises revenge through retribution. For its followers, it is somehow liberating because it allows them to punish whoever they like as long they gain some pleasure. This may explain why the Israelis ended up punishing the Palestinians for crimes that were committed by Europeans. It is rather clear that the newly emerging religion is not just about ‘eye for an eye’; it is actually an eye for thousands and thousands of eyes.

A month ago, while visiting in Auschwitz, Israeli defence minister Ehud Barak left a note in the official visitors book: ‘a strong Israel is both the comfort and the revenge.’ No one could summarise the aspiration of the religion any better. The Holocaust religion doesn’t offer redemption. It is a crude violent manifestation of sheer collective brutality. It cannot resolve anything, for aggression can only lead to more and more aggression. In the Holocaust religion there is neither room for peace or grace. Take it from Barak, revenge is where they find comfort.

To deny the danger posed by the Holocaust religion and its followers is to be complicit in a growing crime against humanity and against every possible human value.

I am also in total support of the Jewish National Project

Some believe that after 2000 years, the ‘phantasmic Diaspora’ Jews are indeed entitled to an imaginary ‘national home land of their own.’ The Zionists apparently meant it sincerely. The Jewish state is now realistic enough to have turned the entire Middle East into a ticking bomb.

Reviewing the Israeli record of crimes against humanity in the last six decades doesn’t leave much room for speculation. We are dealing here with a pathological sinister society. Hence, as much as some of us may agree that Jews should enjoy a hypothetical right for a land of their own, planet Earth is certainly not the ideal location for such an affair.

Hence, I would urge NASA to join in and to make a special effort to find a suitable alternative planet for the Zionist homeland in outer space or even in another galaxy. The Galactic Zionist project would signify the immediate move from ‘promised land’ to ‘promised planet.’ I would enthusiastically stress that rather than searching for ‘a land with no people for a people with no land’, what we really want is a ‘lonely planet.’ It can even be a ‘desert,’ for they claim to know how to make the desert bloom. In a planet of their own, the galactic Zionists wouldn’t need to oppress anyone, they wouldn’t ethnically cleanse either, they wouldn’t have to lock the indigenous people in concentration camps for there won’t be any indigenous people around to abuse, starve, murder, and cleanse. They wouldn’t have to pour white phosphorous over their neighbours for there won’t be any neighbours. I would highly recommend NASA to search for a planet with very low gravity just to make it light for people to wander around. After all, we want the new galactic Zionists to enjoy their futuristic project as much as the Palestinians and many others may enjoy their absence.

So here I am, a proper Jew after all: I am a survivor, I oppose Holocaust denial, I support the Jewish national aspiration. Even the chief Rabbi of Britain cannot ask for more than that.

    1. Acknowledged recently to be a ‘myth’ by the Israeli holocaust museum Yad Vashem. []
    2. A historical fact protected by European Law. []
    3. A slightly confusing narrative. If the Nazis were interested in annihilating the entire European Jewish population as suggested by the orthodox Zionist holocaust narrative, then it is rather ambiguous as to just what led them to march what was left of European Jewry, into their crumbling Nazi fatherland at a time when it was clear that they were losing the war. The two narratives, i.e., ‘annihilation’ and ‘death march’, seem to oppose each other. The issue deserves further elaboration. I would just suggest that the reasonable answers I have come across may severely damage the Zionist holocaust narrative. []
    4. The Israeli Philosophy professor Yeshayahu Leibowitz was probably the first to define the holocaust as the ‘new Jewish religion.’ []

Arrogant US Misses the Message From Pakistan’s People

    William Pfaff

    October 29, 2009

There has always been in American foreign policy circles a virus called arrogance, caused by the hereditary assumption that Americans know better than others. Surprisingly, this does not always prove the case, but the condition seems highly resistant to treatment, even by experience.

There seems a high probability that the disease has struck Obama administration policy circles dealing with Pakistan. (We will leave aside the case of American relations with Afghanistan.) This administration came to office with a conviction that the Afghanistan problem is a problem because it actually is a Pakistan problem, Pakistan being a large country possessing nuclear weapons and a great many Pashtuns, who are the people from whom Taliban are recruited.

Afghanistan is a country with one-sixth Pakistan’s population, with a great many Pashtuns, too, harboring only a 100 or so members of al-Qaeda (if we are to believe the American national security adviser, Gen. James Jones), whereas popular opinion in Washington is that Pakistan is rife with them, and the country is on its way to becoming a "breeding ground" for terrorists who wish to invade the West, blow it up with nuclear weapons obtained from Pakistani stocks, and establish a new global terrorist caliphate amidst the ruins.

It is unknown whether Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, visiting Pakistan this week, shares so alarmed a view, but she will hear a lot about the damage American pressures are doing to Pakistan and how fearful the Pakistani populace is, not of the Taliban and al-Qaeda, but of the United States.

According to a New York Times article this week, from Jane Perlez in Islamabad, the new fighting there against Islamists "has pleased the Americans, but it left large parts of Pakistan under siege, as militants once sequestered in the country’s tribal areas take their war to Pakistan’s cities. Many Pakistanis blame the United States for the country’s rising instability."

A recent and serious poll found that 11 percent of the Pakistani respondents said that al-Qaeda is the greatest threat to Pakistan today, 18 percent said India, and 59 percent said the United States. This was in August, before the most recent offensives of the Pakistani army against the Islamists in Waziristan and the Swat Valley, and the retaliatory city bombings that subsequently have taken place.

A vocal part of the Pakistani population clearly doesn’t want the United States in their country, and it doesn’t even want the aid the United States is sending. A notorious fact in the past has been that civilian and popular opposition to the U.S. was based on the assumption that American aid was meant to keep military governments in place and buy military cooperation with American policy.

This time, it’s the army that doesn’t want the $7.5 billion aid package that the Obama administration has put together; the aid is denounced as meant to interfere in the country’s internal affairs – as indeed it is.

The civilian government of President Asif Ali Zardari, generally thought put in place by Washington, "is seen as slavishly pro-American [as well] as unable to cope" with the current situation (I am again quoting Jane Perlez). The country’s interior minister was hit with stones by students when he visited the International Islamic University last week, and in retaliation the government closed all the schools and universities in Punjab, the most populous province (supposed to reopen Monday, Oct. 26), "a move that affected Pakistani families like never before."

To judge from the public statements of Obama counselors, Pakistan is seen as the great danger in the region, with erratic politics and nuclear weapons – and an active Islamist revolt thereby having the potential to create (according to Obama’s adviser Bruce Riedel) "the most serious threat to the United States since the end of the Cold War."

This would seem why the U.S. wants a government under its thumb to compel the army to fight the Islamists on their home territory even if this alienates the army and sows hatred of America. Is it not possible to allow Pakistan, which has a solid civil service and an excellent army, to act in defense of its own security rather than let the U.S. impose its own ideas?

Is it not imaginable that they know better than the Americans? Would Americans appreciate a Pakistani army installed in Washington, instructing the United States in how to conduct its own foreign policy in ways that suit Pakistan’s national interests?

Video: Palestinians homeless again after eviction

The United Nations is calling on Israel to immediately stop demolishing Palestinian homes in occupied East Jerusalem.

The UN says 60,000 Palestinians may be at risk of being forcibly evicted.

Israel says the houses are built without construction permits, which Palestinians say are almost impossible to obtain.

Gaza thirsts as sewage crisis mounts

Sewage lagoon at Beit Lahia treatment plant

Partially treated sewage seeps into the groundwater from the lagoons

    By Heather Sharp
    BBC News, Gaza

Gaza's aquifer and only natural freshwater source is "in danger of collapse," the UN is warning.

Engineers have long been battling to keep the densely populated strip's water and sewage system limping along.

But in September the UN Environment Programme warned that damage to the underground aquifer - due to the Israeli and Egyptian blockade, conflict, and years of overuse and underinvestment - could take centuries to reverse if it is not halted now.

DOES THE VATICAN HOLD YOUR MORTGAGE?

    PART I

    THE GREATEST STORY NEVER TOLD

It was time for another check-in with a well-informed military man who never fails to astonish me with revelations that never seem to appear on Fox or CNN.

    “What's new?” I asked Hank.

    “Oh, dude.”

My friend and deep source for more than 16 years sounded tired. And shaken. This veteran of the Gulf War, and personal intrigues and interventions at all levels of the U.S. government and military, does not rattle easily.

Since we'd last spoken, Hank related, he'd stopped to help a stranger “on a tight deadline” change a tire on his car. Hank asked no questions, which must have impressed the mysterious motorist. Because weeks later he “got a nice little knock on the door, and there he is again.”

You know where I live, Hank thought. Damn!

“What do you need?” he asked aloud. “Another tire fixed?”

“No, just some of your time.”

The visitor on his doorstep was not the first insider to check Hank out, review some of the pieces we'd done together, and come forward. But this Vatican Jesuit “who helped run things” was certainly the highest placed. Over subsequent visits, Hank was introduced to enough of “his friends, neighbors, compatriots, ner'do-wells” to establish this man's veracity.

His ears, he said, were still burning.

“No political event or circumstance can be evaluated without the knowledge of the Vatican's part in it. And no significant world situation exists in which the Vatican does not play an important explicit or implicit role.” -Baron Avro Manhattan, English historian, Knight of Malta, The Vatican and World Politics

“The Vatican has surfaced again,” Hank informed me. According to his Vatican source, “They have been purchasing a large amount of storage and online storage space. They are taking a lot of pictures, a lot of documents and a lot of scans and putting that information together in a large vault of info. And they're wanting more.”

If so, this project will take tons of terabytes. The “Vatican Secret Archives” - as a London newspaper tagged them - contain almost two-million items. Forget the DaVinci Code. Squirreled away in 50 miles of catacombs shelving, this volatile stockpile of scandals dating back over 1,000 years is the real deal. [Independent May 21/06]

A short list of what those Vatican records might hide:
Hall of Sixtus V, Vatican Library

    1. Not long after the Vatican State received sovereignty and $85 million after signing an alliance with Hitler's fascist mentor, Mussolini in 1929, Pope Pius XII dealt with another devil he admired, closing down the Catholic-dominated Center Party, one of the Nazi Socialist Party's strongest opponents. As Jews were being carted away to gas chambers from their ghetto beneath the Vatican's windows, instead of condemning the Holocaust, "Hitler's Pope” is accused of forbidding monasteries and convents to shelter Jews, and accepting loot stolen from the Nazi's victims. One 1946 U.S. Treasury document alone shows the Vatican serving as a repository for more than 200 million Swiss francs.

In accord with Jesuit doctrine, Pope Pius XII also allowed Franciscans to force conversions using torture in Croatia, where priests like Father Krusnoslav Draganovic (indicted for war crimes) and Bishop Ivan Saric (”Hangman of the Serbs”) assisted escaping Nazis. Father Filipovic-Majstorovic commanded a Ustashi torture camp, where 700,000 non-Catholic Jewish and non-Jewish “heretics” were slaughtered with a relish and brutality that shocked even the Nazi SS. Never charged for his crimes, Fra Sotona (“Father Satan”) as inmates called him, was rewarded with gold smuggled out of Croatia by the retreating Germans. Honey, they shrunk the biscuits! Or how supermarkets are boosting profits by secretly making food packets smaller

    By Gwyneth Rees

Last updated at 2:39 AM on 24th October 2009

This was the week of Biscuitgate. Political pundits of all hues expended many hours on the significance of Gordon Brown's refusal during a live webchat to name his favourite biscuit - despite being asked 12 times.

David Cameron answered instantly: oatcakes. Nick Clegg had an answer, too: Rich Teas if dunked, and HobNobs if not. After a whole 24 hours of dithering, Brown answered on social networking site Twitter: 'Absolutely anything with a bit of chocolate on it, but trying v hard to cut down.'

Let's hope, however, that the Prime Minister's doesn't go for Tesco's own-brand milk chocolate digestives, priced £1.03. For this week, a survey by supermarket comparison website mysupermarket.co.uk revealed that Tesco's humble pack of biscuits has been secretly shrunk. Before the summer, there were 20 in a packet. Now there are just 18 - but their price has remained exactly the same.

    Malteesers to nappies .jpg

And it's not just biscuits. Anything from crisps and beer to tissues and washing-up liquid have all felt the squeeze. And it's all very underhand as, more often than not, the price remains static.

Last year, it was Pampers Baby Dry Economy packs which suddenly contained four fewer nappies. Dairylea triangles were also shrunk. They still had eight triangles in a box, but instead of each cheese portion weighing 22.5g they were changed to weigh 20g, while the price stayed the same at about 92p.

Now mysupermarket.co.uk has revealed the full extent of the ruse. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Ocado - an online shop largely supplied by Waitrose - are all reducing costs by shrinking sizes, but failing to pass on savings.

Last year alone, there was a 5.9 per cent cost increase in all food and drink products. For a family of four spending £100 on weekly groceries, this would mean a 20 per cent increase in their bill - or a price hike of £1,040 a year.

In some instances, products are not only being reduced in size, but also rising in price.

The trend, it seems, has come from the U.S., where it is known as the 'Grocery Shrink Ray', a term coined by a consumer website.

According to the Food and Drink Federation, UK manufacturers have been hit badly by soaring prices in supply chains. But the supermarkets appear to have little excuse. In August, Morrisons's half-year profits leapt to £449million. And in April, Tesco posted record annual profits of more than £3billion.

So given these figures, why on earth is the supermarket trying to diddle customers out of a few measly biscuits? A spokeswoman says: 'The Tesco Value chocolate digestives became an 18-biscuit pack as part of a routine range review. This happened to coincide with an increase in commodity costs.'

Tesco isn't alone; Sainsbury's, too, has been reducing product sizes. A beef and tomato Pot Noodle used to set you back 85p for 96g. Now it sells at 88p for 90g. Meanwhile, manufacturers including Pampers, Birds Eye, and NestlÈ are among big-name brands that have reduced the weight of some products over the summer.

Anna Glayzer, of The Food Commission, a national campaigning charity, says: 'This smacks somewhat of deception. There is no reason why manufacturers and retailers should not be upfront about rising prices.'

But the British Retail Consortium says the practice of shrinking products is 'rare'. 'There are some instances of this occurring, but it is largely urban myth,' says a spokesman. 'In real terms, food is cheaper than it has ever been.'

Yet customers aren't happy. Sarah Hartcliffe, 35, a housewife of Bristol, says: 'I've got two young boys and am quite a savvy shopper. But changes like this should be more transparent.'

It seems only the smartest of shoppers stand a chance against this most sneaky of supermarket tricks.

    Traitors on a Plane

    Traitors on a Plane

    Traitors on a Plane

    1. I’ve had it being Mr. Nice Mantiq al-Tayr. These United States are permeated with traitors who pretend to be part of our society but whose loyalties lie elsewhere; said fact being a cause of tremendous damage to this country. No, I’m not talking about the likes of the absolute fraud bull-shitter lying pretend and extremely bigoted Zionist war-mongering fake orientalist David Gaubatz who claims he knows Arabic because he attended classes at the Foreign Service Institute. More on this paranoid loon in a later post.

I’m talking instead about the likes of traitor  Tsvi Mark who recently completed his first year at West Point. He then got on a plane with 237 other traitors from North American countries and flew off to Israel. He did so in order to join an “elite” unit (the Hebrew word for “elite” means “really good at murdering Palestinians”) in the Israeli military. On that very same plane, over 50 others, at least, were going right into the Israeli military.  It appears that almost all of the  passengers were on the plane in order to “make aliya” (Hebrew for “to betray your country”) to Israel and thus become Israeli citizens. And you get to help pay for it. Keep reading.                                                                 More..............................

The Final Stages of a Genocide

Amazon Tribe Down to Five as Oldest Member Dies

    by Survival International / October 22nd, 2009

The Akuntsu tribe in the Brazilian Amazon has lost its oldest member, Ururú, leaving the tribe with only five surviving members.

Ururú was the oldest member of this close-knit, tiny group and an integral part of it.

Altair Algayer, head of FUNAI’s (Brazilian government Indian affairs department) team which protects the Akuntsu’s land said, ‘She was a fighter, strong, and resisted until the last moment.’ In addition, the oldest-surviving Akuntsu, Ururú’s brother Konibú, is seriously ill.

Ururú witnessed the genocide of her people and the destruction of their rainforest home, as cattle ranchers and their gunmen moved on to indigenous lands in Rondônia state. Rondônia was opened up by government colonisation projects and the infamous BR 364 highway in the 1960s and 70s.

With Ururú dies a large part of the historical memory of this people. While we shall perhaps never know the full horrors inflicted on the Akuntsu in the last half century, today’s survivors say their family members were killed when ranchers bulldozed their houses and opened fire on them. The two surviving men, Konibú and Pupak, have marks on their bodies where bullets entered as they fled.

FUNAI found the remains of houses which had been destroyed by ranchers who were clearing the forest for cattle pasture. The ranchers attempted to hide evidence of the crime, but wooden poles, arrows, axes and broken pottery were discovered.

When the Akuntsu were contacted by FUNAI in 1995 they numbered seven. The youngest, Konibú’s daughter, died in January 2000 when a tree fell on her house.

Today they live in a territory officially recognised by the Brazilian government, where FUNAI protects their land from invasion by surrounding ranchers.

Survival’s Director Stephen Corry said today, ‘With Ururú’s death we are seeing the final stages of a 21st century genocide. Unlike mass killings in Nazi Germany or Rwanda, the genocides of indigenous people are played out in hidden corners of the world, and escape public scrutiny and condemnation. Although their numbers are small, the result is just as final. Only when this persecution is seen as akin to slavery or apartheid will tribal peoples begin to be safe.’

The story of the Akuntsu, their neighbours the Kanoê, and the elusive ‘Man of the Hole’ is graphically told in a new film, Corumbiara. The Akuntsu also feature in Survival’s short film, Uncontacted Tribes.

Survival International, founded in 1969 after an article by Norman Lewis in the UK's Sunday Times highlighted the massacres, land thefts and genocide taking place in Brazilian Amazonia, is the only international organization supporting tribal peoples worldwide. The Wandering Who?

    by Gilad Atzmon / October 24th, 2009

Tel Aviv University historian, Professor Shlomo Sand, opens his remarkable study of Jewish nationalism quoting Karl W. Deutsch:

“A nation is a group of people united by a common mistake regarding its origin and a collective hostility towards its neighbours.”1

sand-inventionofthejewishAs simple or even simplistic as it may sound, the quote above eloquently summarises the figment of reality entangled with modern Jewish nationalism and especially within the concept of Jewish identity. It obviously points the finger at the collective mistake Jews tend to make whenever referring to their ‘illusionary collective past’ and ‘collective origin’. Yet, in the same breath, Deutsch’s reading of nationalism throws light upon the hostility that is unfortunately coupled with almost every Jewish group towards its surrounding reality, whether it is human or takes the shape of land. While the brutality of the Israelis towards the Palestinians has already become rather common knowledge, the rough treatment Israelis reserve for their ‘promised soil’ and landscape is just starting to reveal itself. The ecological disaster the Israelis are going to leave behind them will be the cause of suffering for many generations to come. Leave aside the megalomaniac wall that shreds the Holy land into enclaves of deprivation and starvation, Israel has managed to pollute its main rivers and streams with nuclear and chemical waste.

The Invention of the Jewish People is a very serious study written by Professor Shlomo Sand, an Israeli historian. It is the most serious study of Jewish nationalism and by far, the most courageous elaboration on the Jewish historical narrative.

In his book, Sand manages to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the Jewish people never existed as a ‘nation-race’, they never shared a common origin. Instead they are a colourful mix of groups that at various stages in history adopted the Jewish religion.

In case you follow Sand’s line of thinking and happen to ask yourself, ‘when was the Jewish People invented?’ Sand’s answer is rather simple. “At a certain stage in the 19th century, intellectuals of Jewish origin in Germany, influenced by the folk character of German nationalism, took upon themselves the task of inventing a people ‘retrospectively,’ out of a thirst to create a modern Jewish people.”              More....................................

Obama Administration Takes from American Farmers, Gives to Israel

    by Alison Weir / October 24th, 2009

Policy change slips in under the radar

At a time of financial crisis in the United States in which thousands of Americans have lost their jobs and homes, an Israeli news service reports that President Obama has just signed a presidential memo eliminating a tariff on Israel that protected American dairy farmers and that raised money for the American economy.

In addition, according to the Israeli report, US trade authorities have ordered the return of $17,000 to an Israeli export agent for a levy paid for butter produced by an Israeli company. The move comes at a time when American dairy farmers have been facing what industry representatives call a “crisis.” According to the National Milk Producers Federation website, “U.S. dairy producers have been facing unprecedented losses over the past year due to low milk prices and high input costs. The dire economic straits have forced many dairy farmers to exit the industry, oftentimes having to sell their herds or farms.”

According to the news report by Israeli wire service Ynet, the Obama memo, which was signed several days ago, removed the import subcharge on dairy products from Israel. The report noted that such levies are important for protecting local production against competing imports, “which put the local production at risk.” The levy is required from most countries that export dairy products to the U.S. According to Ynet, Israeli agricultural attaché Yaakov Poleg was able to convince the US that “the trade agreement between Israel and the US prohibits placing taxes on exports from Israel.” However, this tax was required under previous American administrations.

The Ynet report quotes Israeli export agent Dudu Buch, whose company is to receive the $17,000,as taking credit for obtaining this change in US policy. Buch states: “My American colleague was under a lot of pressure and almost gave up, saying that if the American system imposed a protection levy it would last forever.” Buch goes on to say, “I told him that we Israelis can think differently. I turned to the Agriculture Ministry’s representative at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, and the matter was dealt with quickly.” Israel’s attaché was particularly pleased that this change was made through apresidential memo, rather than through normal channels, stating “… in light of the fact that Israel was removed from the list through a presidential declaration, there is no fear that itwill be placed on us again in the future.”

According to Ynet, Israeli dairy exports to the US are “constantly on the rise,” a situation that could hurt US dairy farmers. The Obama memo would seem to hinder what the Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) described in July a sa broad effort, which included the US Department of Agriculture, “to reverse the current dairy crisis.” The DFA emphasized: “Every initiative we can successfully implement to bolster milk prices makes a vital difference to the dairy farmers who are fighting hard to maintain their livelihoods.” Yesterday the organization mailed out a special cash payment to dairy farmers around the country to help “bridge the gap” to a full recovery, stating that it recognized “that our members have a long road ahead as they heal from this difficult year. Our intent is that this special cash payment will help these dedicated farmers hang on until recovery is in full swing and positive cash flows return.”

No one at the US Department of Agriculture contacted for information about this policy change had been aware that it had been implemented. Some suggested that it might be related to a free trade agreement with Israel signed in 1995, but had no information as to why an ongoing US policy had been modified by presidential order.

Council for the National Interest President Eugene Bird objected to the change: “Once again we see Israel receiving special treatment, at the cost to Americans. Even American citizens who oppose protective tariffs want to see a fair and equitable policy. Instead we have a policy change — implemented without public input or debate — that benefits one of the richest nations on earth, and a nation that consistently flouts US laws and policies.” Israel is generally rated as having the 17th wealthiest population in the world.

Bird also noted that Israel, in violation of US trade agreements, has been blocking some American products entirely. “A serious look should be taken at how Israel has prevented certain American products from being imported into Israel,” Bird said, “for example orange juice.”

In addition, Bird pointed out that for decades Israeli policies have prevented Palestinian exports, creating extreme financial hardship that has escalated in recent years. Numerous Palestinian farmers have lost their livelihoods, and unemployment and malnutrition are being seen in Gaza at what the Red Cross has called “devastating” levels.

To hear the details of the WTC Art Student story, listen to the following post from when I was on the Kevin Barret Show for the 2nd appearance. Although it was made clear that the story was to be released on Kevin Barret’s show, many missed the broadcast. This article will contain the information for part 2 of a story I began to break a few weeks ago.

Many misconceptions were and still are spreading about what exactly the implications of the story I broke are. The truth is, there has to be some background for people to understand the full scope of the investigation.

    HANIEH: Arab Jews

    by Adam Hanieh

    yemenis.jpg

    October 17, 2009

    jews-for-allah.org -  16 October 2009

The official ideology of Israel, Zionism, has always portrayed itself as a liberation movement for all Jews. But although Zionism claims to offer a home for all Jews, that home has never been offered equally.

The question of Arab Jews strikes at the heart of the Zionist contradiction — an attempt to build an anti- Arab, exclusively Jewish state on Arab lands.

From the early days of the Zionist project, large numbers of Jews from neighbouring Arab countries were brought to Palestine. Ostensibly they were "returning home", but in reality they came as cheap labour for their European counterparts (Ashkenazi Jews).

These Arab Jews were given the name Mizrahim (the eastern ones).

Official Israeli history presents the emigration of Mizrahi as a result of anti-Semitism within the countries where they lived or a religious devotion to the land of Palestine. This account forgets the economic interests of the Ashkenazi Zionists and the long and largely untroubled relationship between Mizrahi Jews and the other Arabs with whom they lived.

Mizrahim had lived in North Africa and the Middle East for millennia, and the vast majority were opposed to creating a Jewish state in Palestine. The Iraqi Jewish leadership, for example, cooperated with the Iraqi government to stop Zionist activity in Iraq; the chief rabbi published an open letter denouncing Zionism.

In 1920, Palestinian Jews signed anti-Zionist petitions denouncing Ashkenazi rule.

It is now well documented that Zionist underground cells planted bombs in Jewish centres to create hysteria amongst Iraqi Jews, hoping to encourage a mass exodus to Israel. On January 14, 1951, a bomb was thrown into an Iraqi synagogue, killing four people.

Of course these acts of terror by the Zionist movement did not happen in isolation from the corrupt Arab governments of the time, most of which were supported by the British, who had overtly backed the Zionist movement with the Balfour declaration of 1917.

Family who lost 29 members in Gaza war: We envy the dead

    Amira Hass

    10-nlg-gaza.jpg
Children from the Samouni family lie in the morgue in the al-Zeitoun area of Gaza City. (Mohamed Al-Zanon/MaanImages)

Richard Goldstone visited the Gaza City neighborhood of Zaytoun in late June to tour the compound of the extended Samouni family, the subject of coverage here in recent weeks (”‘I fed him like a baby bird,’” September 17; “Death in the Samouni compound,” September 25). Twenty-nine members of the family, all of them civilians, were killed in the Israel Defense Force’s winter assault – 21 during the shelling of a house where IDF soldiers had gathered some 100 members of the family a day earlier.

Salah Samouni and the owner of the house that was shelled – Wael Samouni – took Goldstone around the farming neighborhood, showing him its devastated homes and uprooted orchards. In a telephone conversation this week, Salah described how he had shown Goldstone a picture of his father, Talal, among the 21 killed in the house. He told the Jewish South African judge and head of the United Nations inquiry team into Operation Cast Lead, that his father “had been employed by Jews” for nearly 40 years and that whenever he was sick, “the employer would call, ask after his health, and forbid him to come to work before he had recovered.”

The Samounis were always confident that, in the event of any military invasions into Gaza, they could always manage to get along with the Israeli army. Until 2005, before Israel’s disengagement from the Strip, the Jewish settlement of Netzarim was located right next door, and several family members worked there from time to time. When the joint Israeli-Palestinian patrols were active, Israeli soldiers and Palestinian security officials sometimes asked the Samounis to “lend” them a tractor to flatten a patch of land or repair the Salah al-Din Road (for example, when a diplomatic convoy needed to pass through). While Samouni family members worked on their tractors, gathering sand, the soldiers would watch them.
